About Avow
An economy run by AI cannot be audited by hand.
Software now writes contracts, moves money, and settles trades around the clock. The number of transactions grows with computing power. The number of auditors does not.
The problem we exist for
Verification is rationed by human hours. That is the whole problem.
The audit profession was designed in an era of paper ledgers. Its unit of capacity is the qualified human hour, and there are not enough of them. So audits are sampled rather than complete, queued rather than scheduled, and priced by the hour rather than by the outcome.
The shortage lands hardest where the assets are newest. Funds in the most transparent asset class in history, one that keeps a public, permanent record of every transaction, wait the longest for an audit.
Transactions are multiplying. Trust has to scale too.
The firm
An audit firm, not a software vendor.
Avow sells signed opinions and attestations, nothing else. AI agents do the fieldwork. Licensed CPAs own the judgment. The firm is built AI-first, so verification scales with the economy it serves, and every opinion still carries a licensed, accountable signature.
Agents read evidence directly and are built to test every transaction in the period, not a sample. That is what audit looks like when capacity is no longer the constraint.
Where we come from
Built by people who sat on the fund side.
Avow was started by operators who have run digital asset funds and built companies in digital asset finance. We have waited on the auditor's calendar, paid the overruns, and explained the delay to LPs. The frustration behind this firm is first-hand, not researched.
Every opinion is signed by a licensed CPA of a PCAOB-registered firm. [Post-acquisition: name the firm and its registration.]
The name
To avow is to declare openly and stand behind as true.
The mark carries the same idea. Two equal bodies face each other: assertion and evidence, management and stakeholders. Between them runs a single vertical line, the standard neither party controls. That line is the firm.
